How to configure an SSL certificate for Enkompass hosting

You will require a dedicated IP, please contact sales for more info.


First, from Enkompass select the "Certificate Wizard" option from under the security heading.



From there select "Use a certificate from an Authority" and then "Request a signed certificate"




Fill in all your company and domain details in the page that opens remembering to set;
"Certificate name" Set this as www.yourdomain
"Email" set this to an email you have access to as later on you will be emailed the SSL certificate.
Then fill in the address details and press the "Continue" button at the bottom of the page.




Confirm all the details on the following page and click "Generate CSR"





You will then be taken to the certificate signing request page, copy the SSL request code including the "-----begin certificate request-----" and "-----end certificate request-----"




Then go back to your Cyberhostpro Portal account and log in, under the "services" heading click on "my services". This will take you to a list of all the products/services on the account, next to the "SSL Certificates - RapidSSL" click on "view details".




On the page that opens select the "View certificate details option"



The "Configure SSL certificate" page will now open.
From Web Server Type we used "Microsoft IIS 5.X and later" in this example as it is a Windows server running IIS7

Paste the certificate signing request which you earlier copied into the "CSR" box


For phone number please remember to use international format

Then fill in the rest of the required fields, once all fields are completed "click to continue" at the bottom of the page


The certificate approver email page will now open

On this screen select an email account from one of the options, this email account must exist and you must have access to it as this is where the certificate confirmation request will be sent.


This stage is now completed! You will be taken to a "Configuration complete" page saying you will soon receive an email to approve.
In this example the email came through within a few minutes

Follow the link in the email and recheck your "name, phone and email" details are correct, then click the "I approve" button.


You will receive a confirmation email with your SSL certificate key (scroll down the email), please copy the key under the "web server certificate" heading including the "-----begin certificate-----" at the top and "-----end certificate-----" at the bottom.



Now go back to your Enkompass homescreen and again, go into the "Certificate Wizard" option under the security heading.
This time select the "Install a signed certificate" option and click Start


Paste the copied key into the text box and click "install"



On the next page click "next"


On the next page that appears, click the "Create New Binding"


Congratulations you have now installed the SSL certificate!
